We are looking for a seasoned professional with core experience specifically in Employee Relations (ER). The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding and practical experience in handling employee grievances, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. They should be experts in developing and implementing ER policies and have a track record of managing complex employee issues with sound judgment and discretion.
1. Resolving Employee Issues: Must handle employee complaints and resolve problems effectively.
2. HR Policies and Labor Laws: Should understand and implement company HR policies and be familiar with central and state labor laws and compliance.
3. Policy Development: Experience in creating and managing HR policies and procedures.
4. HR Experience: Prior experience in employee relations within an HR department.
5. Relationship Building and Risk Assessment: Ability to build strong internal relationships, assess risks, especially legal, and take appropriate actions.
6. Attention to Detail and Confidentiality: Must manage tasks with attention to detail and handle sensitive information with discretion.
7. Independence and Industrial Relations: Should work independently and have knowledge of union management, negotiations, and labor disputes (a plus).
