Our client is a leading D2C Ayurveda based wellness and beauty products company. It provides reasonably priced premium ayurvedic solution ranges for customers covering hair, face, lips, body and general health that helps to look and feel beautiful. Its offerings are formulated with a unique blend of Ayurvedic herbs, extensive research and modern day innovation. The final output is the result of rigorous quality checks and multiple rounds of testing (never on animals). All its products are GMP certified which is a WHO certification for manufacturing quality.
The husband-wife founders of the company started the journey of setting up the brand out of a very personal challenge of a skin allergy caused due to an unhealthy lifestyle. In a short span of 2 years, they are already at a 30cr annual run rate and expected to cross the 50 cr mark in a year's time. All without any external funding, purely built on customer love for their great products.
As a Sr Manager- Ecommerce Sales, you will be responsible for P&L of all the Channel Partners. This would include leading and managing the Marketplace operations for Amazon, Flipkart, Nyka and Myntra, marketing & Advertising Campaigns, Catalog management, Vendor management, Forward deployment, and Category ROIs in wellness Beauty Category.
What you will do:
- Developing E-commerce sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets
- Developing and implementing ecommerce strategy to penetrate international market
- Defining, developing and constantly optimizing digital solutions to meet the goals and KPIs by developing and A/B Testing campaign strategies, landing pages & pricing strategies
- Managing the marketing budget, entire brand management, product management, product marketing, promotions
- Building marketing strategy, product marketing, driving customer research and ROI optimization
Coordinating with various e-portals to prepare a plan for periodic sales increment
- Dealing with e-commerce category managers for product placement and visibility
- Keep collecting data for platforms e.g. top selling products, competitor performance, advertising mechanisms etc.
- Managing fulfilment operations for channel partners
Monitoring Stock Ageing / Slow Moving SKUs with each partner and driving actions to ensure zero loss
- Conducting annual reconciliation of stock and reporting to the supply chain dept.
- Fortnightly / Monthly / Quarterly MIS reporting for marketplaces
- Managing MRP / Packing Change / Product Change transitions with zero loss
Desired Candidate Profile
What you need to have:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to excel in an ecommerce sales environment
- MBA with 5+ years of experience in heading Ecommerce Sales at an FMCG company
- Result oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated
- Ability to cater product pitch to the specific target audience, and getting the best communication out to drive sales
- Well versed with the operations of major e-commerce players such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nyka and Myntra
- Exposure of International e-commerce trade (Amazon) for US/UK and other countries
