Senior Manager - Disaster Management

Building capabilities to respond to disasters :

By building / strengthening a cadre of :

- Project Managers

- Procurement Officers

- Core Volunteers

- Other relevant groups (doctors, etc.)

 By working with the companies to :

- Facilitate State Disaster Response Platforms and its meetings

- Carry out mapping of resources - financial, infrastructural, human, relevant for disaster response

By exploring various multi - lateral / bilateral / state / non-state partnerships to enable :

- Multi thematic - specialised interventions (mental health, intermediary shelters, child care spaces, etc.) for response

- Multi region capability

- Better use of technology

- Coordinating disaster response in emergency / relief and rehabilitation phase.

- Issue advisories and / or decision of deploying a response / share updates

 For the response :

- Coordinate programme and project management

- Facilitate programme and project management
