Job description :
- Responsible for the management of production, planning, logistics and procurement at the site in in Mysore with 25 employees (option to move to Bangalore)
- Should have very good understanding on the business processes for manufacturing environment, supply chain and production planning & control
- Leadership and optimal use as well as responsible development of direct and indirect employees
- Implement and manage an efficient value chain regard to work preparation, disposition, procurement, production and supply chain
- Responsibility for an economical, timely and quality-appropriate production according to specifications as well as the utilization of the production capacities
- Continually monitoring of quality
- Permanent evaluation and optimization of production processes (lean production, selection and implementation of meaningful management tools)
- Definition and processing of the annual targets as well as detailed objectives, derived from the corporate objectives
- Further development of the production area in accordance with the company strategy
- Investment planning and investment controlling
- People development through regular feedback, coaching & mentoring, identifying and facilitating training needs
- Able to re-locate the production unit with all his constrains
Desired candidate profile:
- Successfully completed engineering studies in the field of production engineering, operations, business management or comparable
- Min. 8 - 12+ years of experience of production Operations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to recognize and react to critical business priorities among multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- High level of quality awareness
- Good operational understanding
- Leadership experience as production manager with proven success in medium-sized, manufacturing companies with serial production for the electronics industry
- Know-how in the implementation of modern methods in production, supply chain and operations management
- Competence in the management of process optimization
- Willingness to take details into your own hands
- An analytical and conceptual approach characterizes you
- Strong self-motivation, dynamism, customer orientation, teamwork in an international organization
- Candidate should possess very good communication skills both written & verbal
- Able to read and interpret instructions, policy, procedures, program information,
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Should be a good crisis manager
- Experience abroad preferred
- Experience in an international company
