Requirement Description - Sr Manager Digital & IT Control Function

Industry: Opening is with a well renowned Life Insurance company
Role
- Work on Process improvement with Digitization opportunities for various Business Functions including customer facing and backend functions, with added focus on Operation & IT processes
- Understand best Digital Practises in the BFSI industry - specifically in Life Insurance
- Explore and share relevant good practises on Automation opportunities, Operational Efficiency, Customer Experience, Cost Savings, Sales Enhancement
- Help in implementation of identified Digital projects for the year and
- Process Documentation
- Organize/Lead stakeholder discussions
- Get requisite sign-offs from Management
- Track timelines and ensure fulfilment on time and within budget
- Work very closely with external ecosystem, IT and internal functional stakeholders on digital initiatives
- Lead initiatives around Cloud Migration and Integration with Eco System (insurtechs, start-ups, incubators, educational institutions etc)
- Responsible for managing control functions within IT
- Deep dive into applications and process to carry out detailed Root Cause Analysis of all risks identified related to applications
- Perform general and application control reviews and recommend process related fixes for immediate as well as long term basis
- Monitor, track and work closely with IT application & infra teams, Risk Management and Infosec teams for closure of identified gaps & vulnerabilities

Technical :
- Lean / Six Sigma
- Project Management / Agile Methodology / Scrum / DevOps
- Good understanding on RPA / AI / Machine Learning
- Design Thinking
- Basic knowledge of Programming, software development life cycle and change management
- Cloud Migration
- Mobility platforms
- Should have worked on automation projects on the functional side or technical side or as a Business Analyst
- Tools for Project Management (Jira/MS Projects others)

The candidate need not have all Technical skill sets mentioned above. However, basic understanding and experience in the same is desired
