Job Role: Audit SM / DGM

Direct Reporting to Sector Head MA&AS Department MA&AS

Functional Area: Internal Audit and Risk Assurance

Purpose

Job Purpose:

To Assist Function Manager to ensure effective and comprehensive execution of Audit and Assurance engagements for the sector through robust planning, timely reporting and escalation, and overall program management to provide assurance on the Risk Management process. Responsible for conducting end-to-end Project Management Audits across sectors effectively coordinating with multiple teams under the guidance of the Sector Head.

1. Support the Sector Head / Function Manager in the Implementation of the internal audit plan in line with the Internal audit strategy

2. Carry out Audit as per the defined guidelines/templates and timelines

3. Liaison with Group Project Audit Teams for effective delivery and engagement of Third-Party Auditors

4. Keep the Sector Head / HO team up to date on progress / ensure prompt escalation in case of issues

5. Track the progress of the assigned engagements and follow-up actions by the process owners

6. Liaise with business SPOCs to update Audit findings, clarifications, and Corrective & Preventive Actions to provide internal audit-related updates to Sector Head / HO team, as and when required

7. Develop industry-specific knowledge

8. Develop proficiency in the Internal Audit tools (e.g., automation systems, analytics tools) and methodologies

Experience & Educational Requirement:

Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in leading and managing audits of large-scale projects review across sectors/locations. Big 4 experience MUST.

- No specific domain experience is required.

Qualification:

- CA (Final) from a reputed institute (MUST)

- Additional qualifications in Project Management would be an added advantage.
