Requirements

Qualification Bachelors of Engineering/B Tech Degree in Civil

Years of Experience 15 to 20 Years

Project Detail 660 MW Coal Based Power Plant

Purpose of Role The Civil Personnel is responsible for carrying out site execution activities.Day in & day out interaction with contractors for resource management as per project requirement. Preparation & analysis of material requirement as per drawings. Inspection of Site construction in line with FQAP.

Main Responsibilities Execution of all construction activities of buildings along with finishing items, preparation of estimates, taking measurements, Contractors bill certification and familiarity with external/internal plumbing & sanitary systems, water supply & sewage treatment, Electrical etc.

- Experience of TG Deck, TG Raft, TG Foundation, Control building & Service building as per design tolerances.

- Experience of Piling & RCC Structure

- Overseeing Site civil activities and resolving bottlenecks.

- Providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction

- Preparing & Reviewing Method statements and work Specific Quality Control Plans.

- Ensuring materials received are in accordance with quantity & quality.

- Regular meetings with the contractor to assess, program & quality.

- Inspect the works undertaken for compliance with required quality and good workmanship practice.

- Preparing work schedules, monitoring the progress for his area of execution

- Taking daily/weekly progress reports & providing inputs to site planning manager.

- Taking active part in complying with Quality (ISO 9001) & HSE (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) norms along with relevant documentation.

Skills & Competencies In -depth experience in Civil works execution of Thermal Power Projects.

Should have experience in 600 MW Power Plant
