Senior Manager / DGM

Proposal and Costing :

- Propose new Route of Synthesis (ROS) for RFPs.

- Provide conclusions on costing for route selection based on technical assessment.

- Provide Full-Time Equivalent (FTEs) and timelines for costing.

Project Planning and Safety :

- Participate in kick-off meetings.

- Plan and review Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) searches.

- Prepare and conduct safety assessments of reactions.

- Ensure overall lab and personnel safety.

Literature and Documentation :

- Conduct literature searches to support project progress.

- Supervise project documentation, including PDRs, reports, financial details, and FTE man-hours.

- Oversee troubleshooting activities, review, and communicate results.

- Provide required details for progress updates, PDR preparation, and report preparation.

- Review updates and action items from meetings.

Project Development and Reporting :

- Prepare project development reports and sign off after review.

- Share learnings and findings from projects.

- Prepare weekly updates, manpower allocation sheets, and project trackers.

Costing and Dispatches :

- Provide norms to Project Managers for re-costing after development.

- Complete costing after development work/demo batches to understand deviations from the quote.

- Ensure timely completion of required dispatches (samples/products).

Inventory and Communication :

- Maintain appropriate inventory of chemicals, glassware, and lab paraphernalia.

- Facilitate intra and inter-departmental communications.

Training and Development :

- Ensure all necessary trainings are taken before and during work execution.

- Arrange and conduct technical training for team members to enhance their knowledge base.
