Senior Manager/Deputy General Manager - Legal - Real Estate

Looking for Sr. Manager/DGM- Legal for a leading Real Estate Developer Company based in Mumbai.

We are urgently looking for a Sr. Mgr/DGM- Legal for a leading Real Estate Developer company based in BKC, Mumbai.

The role would consist of 20% litigation and 80% non-litigation responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Identify, anticipate & mitigate legal risk including deal structuring, land buy, sale agreements, lending, borrowing, etc.

- Draft & vet various commercial documents, Lease Deed, Conveyance, Mortgage Deeds, etc.

- Top drafting & negotiating skills

- Due diligence for clear title in land acquisition, negotiation, documentation & closure.

- Represent the Co. before various regulatory authorities Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, real estate laws applicable to flat/apartment, Rent Act.

- Part of the non-business development, non-litigation team. This team handles all legal matters other land acquisition and major litigation;

- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts for all internal departments in Procurement, Strategy, Marketing and Sales.

- Reviewing financing documentation in connection with all financing transactions entered into by the Group.

- Assisting in group restructuring activities.
