Position : Senior Manager/Deputy General Manager - HR

Grade : M5/M4

Location : Nalagadh, Himachal Pradesh

Education : BE/B.Tech/Graduation + MBA HR

Experience : Minimum 8 - 12 years of experience in managing HR in factory

Roles & Responsibilities:

Business Partnering :

- Partner with Plant Head and Functional Heads at the unit in driving the business agenda

- Active participation in the Industrial HR Council to drive standardized & integrated systems and processes for HR services across all units

Talent Acquisition processes :

- Drive the recruitment process for all employees in line with the business requirements

- Manage On-boarding process and formalities including Induction of employees

- Identifies local recruitment vendor partners

Performance Management :

- Deploy and monitor performance management system for all employees and ensure adherence to the process

- Review developmental plans & their execution for all employees at Units

Compensation and Benefits :

- Establishes the company wage and salary structure, pay policies and variable pay performance system for all employees

- Monitor Time & attendance activities

- Payroll processing for for all employees

Talent and Learning Initiatives :

- Drive Learning programs including technical training and ensure that programs are in line with development needs as per PPM and Business needs

- Provide feedback of Learning Programs to Training Manager to enhance the quality of learning effectiveness

Employee Engagement :

- Define and Drive the Employee Engagement agenda

- Always acts as employee champion including voicing employees- concerns in management meetings

- Counsels employees on organizational issues

- Create and implement effective internal employee communication forums

Employee Relations :

- Address employee grievances, conducts investigations into employee complaints and guides the employee on disciplinary process

- Leads the Employee Relations Committee

Statutory Compliance :

- Ensure HR Statutory Compliance in the factories

- Represent the company in various courts / in the offices of the statutory authorities in legal/statutory matters/ labour related cases

Administration and Facilities :

- Responsible for overall factory administration and security for the site - across shifts

- Monitor and administer processes such as Housekeeping, Horticulture, Health & Safety, Welfare

- Management of contracts such as Labor, Transport, Leased Accommodation etc.

- Management of all Audits such as ISO or any Philips led quality Audits

External Networking :

- Liaison with statutory authorities such as Labor Department, Provident Fund, ESI, Civil Administration, Law & Order machinery

- Relationship with the neighboring Industry for disaster management

HR Operations :

- Drives process, policy, reporting compliance

- Interacts with the Corporate office on matters pertaining to transfers, promotions, separations, appointments etc for all employees

- Manages the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System w.r.t. employees

- Conduct Exit interviews and complete separation formalities

- Provide sector wise analysis of Exit interviews to Industrial HR
