KEY OBJECTIVES :  - Drive Integrated Demand and Supply Planning process to ensure higher service level at optimal inventory and with the least cost to serve.   - Drive Inventory Management of FG and WG/DG by setting inventory policy and guidelines and ensuring execution through a standard process  - Drive Zonal S&OP, SPRM and NPD meetings to align all stake holders on operational plan to achieve higher efficiency, service level and performance to plan  - Drive Collaborative Demand Planning process to help business unit achieve higher level of efficiency by improving forecasting capability   - Support New Product Commercialization process and drive Long Term Capacity Planning to ensure delivery to plan in the medium to long term  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :   Demand Planning :   - Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at SKU, brand, rate area level and aggregation for weekly & monthly time horizons for months M1,M2 & M3  - Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.  - Analyze to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Provide inputs /analytic to sales team to improve forecast accuracy in the short to medium term.  - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and planning to understand demand forecast drivers and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.  - Drive implementation of demand planning tool to automate and strengthen demand planning process   Create statistical forecasts :  - Gather, analyze and validate data  - Develop, document, implement and maintain robust forecasting processes and systems to ensure that the business is scalable for rapid growth Review sales plans, finance Budget Updates or Latest Estimates and demand drivers:  - Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales, and finance  - Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts  - Review promotional plans with sales  Supply Planning & Inventory Management :  - Drive integrated supply network planning to achieve desired service level at optimal inventory  - Convert sales plan into detailed production plan and schedule and drive execution to plan to ensure stock availability as per requirement  - Develop and maintain weekly and period reports to help improve supply chain processes  - Drive efficiency in the integrated production planning and material planning process through a tool  - Drive S&OP meetings ( SPRM, Zonal S&OP, NPDs etc.) to achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts, facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and finance personnel. Prepare relevant material to actively contribute in the S&OP discussion  - Drive New Product Commercialization process to ensure launch of new products on time  - Provide inputs for long term capacity and rough cut capacity planning for the multi-site complex supply network  - Develop an inventory roadmap for both Finished Goods (FGs) and wet goods & dry goods ( WG/DG) at unit level. Drive inventory as per the guidelines agreed with the management.  - Drive long term capacity planning keeping in mind strategic business plan to ensure capacity/space availability in the medium to long term  - A professional degree (MBA - Operations / Engineer)  - Data processing and have a good knack of business having 9 to 12 years of experience with at least 3-4 years in a related responsibility. Preferably in supply chain experience or sales distribution.  - Preferably from an FMCG background.  - Hands on experience in planning tool will be an added advantage
