Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will be accountable for managing the following for GBS captive delivery function in Gurgaon:
- Manage Finance Delivery and Operations for the various teams servicing in the AMEA region.
- Oversee and review the various KPI's and deliverables of the operations and Delivery teams.
- Drive Business Process Excellence and Transformation Projects for F&A Business - P2P and A2R /RTR.
- Create and implement BPET strategies.
- Identify key operating areas for Operations and drive improvement initiatives (Process Improvement/ Transformation/Automation etc.) to attain process excellence.
- Facilitate process transitions and SLA adherence for the processes in the vertical.
- Embrace change and drive training on Six-Sigma to help develop Quality DNA within the vertical.
- Facilitate setting up of required infrastructure for implementing the Quality Management System
Academic Qualifications & Experience :
- University Degree in accountancy or equivalent with 15+ years of relevant work experience
- 12+ years- experience in similar roles or shared service environment.
- Team management experience is a must. Has experience to lead team of 15+ members
- Hands on experience in ATR/PTP and OTC end to end process in a shared service environment
- Solid internal control experience (eg. Sox)
- Manages with metrics
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working with virtual, global, cross-functional teams, Excellent with MS tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Word)
- Hands on experience in ERP Tools (SAP, Concur, Vendor Invoice Management, etc.)
- Self-starter and can work under pressure
- Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete projects
- Extremely strong fundamentals in Accounting
- Excellent multi-tasking skills. Team-orientation with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in handling end to end process transitions, starting from feasibility to stabilization phase
- Hands on experience for ERP system implementation
- Effective managerial & people development skills
- Good written & oral communication skills
- The ability to work in a global environment with a strong customer focus, with experience of pro-actively working with demanding customers in a flexible manner.
- Proven staff management skills & strong team leadership, with the ability to direct and motivate staff
- Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to develop succession plan for staff
- Delivery experience with India, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand
- Lean Six sigma experience preferred (or an equivalent continuous improvement methodology)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Drive Six-Sigma and Lean projects.
- Drive Quality Management System within the vertical.
- Drive Quality Net Savings in the vertical.
- Drive VOC actionable across the team and maintain / improve scores.
- Drive inputs from VOC for improvements.
- Contribute and present in client/customer reviews/meetings.
- Adhere to compliance to quality standards.
- Do goal setting with the team and ensure effective and measurable reviews and feedback mechanisms
- Follow appraisal and feedback mechanism. Initiate best practice sharing across the team and vertical. Drive people development
- Drive culture of data-based decision making
Soft Skills :
- Excellent Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Additional language (reading of Japanese/Chinese) a plus
- A positive attitude, innovative and creative thinker.
- Responsible risk taking and risk management.
- Experience in working with global and virtual team and working in a cross cultural environment.
