Typical Accountabilities:
Data Management Operations and BQC (Business Central Query) Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of daily operations, major strategic change projects, continuous improvements and automation. This is a proactive role that will drive both consistency of deployment and compliance in use through:
- Monitor daily services delivery including managing priorities and team workload,
- Define, implement and adjust KPIs to ensure they represent actual performance and address the current business needs,
- Drive Customer-centric application and standardization of data and processes,
- Work closely with the main collaborators and representatives of key internal customers to understand their priorities and adjust data management operations accordingly,
- Report, analyse and communicate team performance,
- Define and implement KPIs to ensure service delivery according to the business needs,
- Run periodic meetings with key stakeholders on the services delivered supported by the KPIs,
- Drive functional design of the relevant process elements of new and existing systems and technologies,
- Coordinate support to business users to ensure their understanding of the processes and data requirements,
- Plan and deliver data quality initiatives in cooperation with main stakeholders from other functions and towers,
- Ensure compliance to defined data standards, operating procedures and controls,
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to ensure top data quality enabling further efficiencies across Company's functions,
- Support internal and external audit to ensure compliance to defined processes and controls,
- Plan and deliver transition of data management activities among the locations and teams according to current GBS Data Office strategy,
- Benchmark the processes among the teams and locations to identify improvements and share standard methodologies,
- Coordinate services or project tasks performed by external suppliers,
- Cooperate with project teams or coordinate the project tasks independently in data management area,
- Coordinate with relevant functions issues identification, root cause analysis and resolution,
- Act as the critical interface to strategy and organisational change delivery from the operations perspective,
- Provide coaching to people within the team, enabling their learning, development and career progression,
- Ensure current process documentation.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification,
- Extensive data management process experience (development, management and application),
- Good understanding and working experience with data governance framework and practices,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Business English,
- Ability to use a range of influencing techniques,
- Significant experience of MDM technologies i.e. Reltio,
- Experience in working with CRM solutions i.e. Veeva CRM,
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively,
- Demonstrable experience of organisational change,
- At least 5 years people management experience in multinational environment,
- Demonstrated success working in a team environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills,
- Experience of implementing significant business change across different national and business boundaries.
Desirable
- Experience in establishing a new service or transition of services among companies, teams, and locations,
- Experience with digital, multi-channel and omni-channel marketing,
- Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge,
- Experience using data quality profiling and monitoring tools,
- Experience of working in a complex global organisation,
- Experience of data partnerships.
