Senior Manager - Cyber Security
The Cyber Security Consultant will play a crucial role in identifying, managing, and mitigating security risks for our clients. This position involves consulting with clients to understand their security needs, designing and implementing security solutions, and ensuring the integrity and security of their information systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Consult with clients to identify their cybersecurity needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to evaluate clients' current security posture.
Security Solutions Design:
- Design and implement comprehensive security solutions tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Develop security policies, procedures, and standards to enhance clients' security posture.
- Recommend and implement improvements to clients' security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities in clients' information systems.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure ongoing security compliance.
Incident Response:
- Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and other incidents.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for clients' employees.
- Raise awareness of cybersecurity best practices and promote a culture of security within clients' organizations.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure clients' compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security assessments, incidents, and remediation efforts.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
