Senior Manager - Cost Management - Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Firm

We are currently having an opening with an Indian Multinational automotive company for the profile of Senior Manager - Cost Management

Skills : Cost management, cost reduction, cost analysis.

Experience 3+ years.

Relevant Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience of Cost Management/ Cost Engg /Purchase function. In depth knowledge of costing ,trends , markets.

- Exp in at least one full scale project for cost management. Coordination with vehicle integration , ERC, Purchase, AQ and mfg engg.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tracking of Budget requests on daily basis and map Pendency status Cost targets Timeline.

- Evaluation for cost impact and clearance of DCR in pFirst / PLM system Change management.

- Create Should Cost request (Cost Engineering) in pFirst system for new parts Cost targets.

- Share Should Cost with Purchase Buyer and facilitate discussion to meet Should Cost Cost targets.

- Work with ERC CoC for getting required clarity on new parts to optimize the cost Cost targets.

- Work closely with Purchase buyers for optimizing Budget requests Cost targets Timeline.

- Maintain and update the cost data of existing Programs as reference for new Programs Benchmarking.

- Periodic PO Price data mapping from SAP for latest DMC updates Cost target.

- Periodic mapping of Incurrence & commitment reports for meeting annual targets Capex target.

- Periodic mapping of RM base (with Purchase support) & FOREX movement for Biz Case sensitivity mapping Cost target.

- Support Product Planning Group for KO Gateway deliverables Timeline.

- Work with Operations team to achieve the VAVE cost reduction target VAVE target.
