JOB SPECIFICATION :
PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
An overview of the job and its contribution
Key account management :
- To achieve the organizational goal for the assigned partnership and meeting budgetary objectives on revenue, cost and profitability and partner overall success.
- Build the partnership through identifying new areas of business and scaling the existing lines of business through HO and regional interventions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Main duties, tasks and responsibilities of the role Business Planning & Strategy :
- Formulating the business plan for the channel meeting the organizational objectives.
- Annual / monthly with branch, cluster, region & zone level.
- Planning to consider macro factors and past trend analysis
- Periodic review and course correction of sales plans to incorporate organizational / regulatory changes if any
- Forecasting channel's target achievement and input management for achievement of business objectives
- Competition Tracking
- Best Practices
- Provide inputs to channel partner on improvement of productivity and development
- Arrange Governance meetings with management teams on both sides
- Keep close relationships with Cross sales team, acquire other verticals
- Monthly mailers to partners
Business Delivery :
- Achieve CP targets and ensure all efficiency parameters are in place as per target
- Analytic to improve efficiency parameters like Value penetration, Unit Penetration and LCR ( Loan coverage ratio)
- Evaluates and monitor the systems / process enablers for business and suggest improvements for operational effeciencies
- Continuous interaction with stake holders to facilitate business
- Evaluates channel specific quarterly sales and marketing activity planner and provide suggestions
Sales Commercials : - (i)Manage the modality of payments to the partner as per IRDA guidelines (ii) Ensure timely payouts to Channel partners as per the SLA.
Sales Development :
- Coordinate with field sales team to improve field engagement
- MIS on multiple strategic business inputs / initiatives for the sales team to drive the same along with channel partners- distribution
- Execution of the various events / promotional events for partner
- Devising BTL marketing strategy to improve insurance penetration among partner's customers
- Planning and ensuring high activity amongst the partner's distribution network.
Managing Regulatory Objectives :
- Partner audit as per IRDA / RBI guidelines. To facilitate the same through audit/legal/compliance teams - Process Mapping to meet IRDA guidelines
Service Delivery :
- Devising of SLA & TAT for customer service
- Policy Issuance and delivery
- Customer Grievances resolution
- Manage Claim settlement, publish MIS s
Essential Desirable :
KNOWLEDGE :
- Understanding of a defined system, practice, method or procedure within or outside knowledge of life insurance business and distribution channels

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

- Min 5-7 Years of experience preferably in relationship management, team management and sales/distribution functions.
- Person managing back end operations or in sales support role in Banca
- Min 4 years of experience preferably in relationship management, team management and sales/distribution functions.
EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS :
Level of education, professional qualification, specific occupational training/certification required for the role : Graduate MBA
