MBA (finance) from a reputed institute .
Should have 8 - 12 years of post qualification experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, PE Fund raising or in a similar environment.
Building relationships with key transaction oriented / acquisitive groups in the identified sector / region.
Analysing the financial and operational positioning of corporates to proactively suggest strategic options including JV / partnerships, acquisitions or divestitures.
The person would primarily be required to lead the project team, keep the work focused on the objectives and market the group's services.
Some of the key work areas would include:
Building relationships with key transaction oriented / acquisitive groups in the identified sector / region
Analysing the financial and operational positioning of corporates to proactively suggest strategic options including JV / partnerships, acquisitions or divestitures
Building a healthy pipeline of opportunities and mandates in the specific areas fund raise / M&A engagements
Coordinating pitch presentations to obtain new mandates
Work on an integrated basis with the IGS Group to pitch for and win mandates encompassing end to end advisory services.
Lead execution of transactions including day to day management and Project management and monitoring a team of Managers and Associates and other members of IGS Group
Business Modeling and Plan Development and an ability to analyse and envisage new / key industry trends
Financial Modeling and Analysis
Coordinating and managing the financial, tax, commercial and operational due diligence process in a transaction
Assistance and guidance in finalisation of the transaction documentation including the initial Information Memorandum, financial model and the definitive agreements
Represent the firm at seminars/conferences/ develop thought leadership reports/ articles
