We have an opening with one of our client (in their HR function @ ggn) which is listed in US (NYSE). It is a leading provider of services and technology to healthcare providers. They help healthcare clients strengthen their financial stability and deliver better care at a more affordable cost to the communities they serve, increasing healthcare access for all.

Their distinctive operating model that includes people, process, and sophisticated integrated technology helps their customers realize sustainable improvements in their operating margins and improve the satisfaction of their patients, physicians, and staff.

Their customers typically are in US and are multi-hospital systems, including faith-based or community healthcare systems, academic medical centers and independent ambulatory clinics, and their affiliated physician practice groups.

Details Of The Current Vacancy :

- Sr Manager Continuous Improvement

- 10+ years of experience in CI and Process excellence

Brief synopsis :

- 3 to 5 sentence summary of the general purpose of the job

- Change agent responsible to drive Accretive Health cultural transformation through the application of the continuous improvement principles, methods and tools

- Conducts baseline assessments of identified opportunities to select improvement projects through the application of an in-depth knowledge of customer needs and business goals

- Leads the execution of the improvement projects and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of optimized processes and measurable business results

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- 5 to 7 activities and outcomes that require a significant amount of time and/or periodic tasks and outcomes that are critical to the job

- Provide an indication of task or outcome complexity

Optional : Percentage of time spent on each task

The Manager will be assessed on the following competencies :

Execution :

- Develop skills and knowledge to the point where viewed as a subject matter expert on all areas of the assigned process / site

- Effectively identifies risk and allocates time accordingly.

- Ensures data-driven and independent approach while identifying/prioritizing all aspects of a problem.

- Executes in an organized and effective manner (with minimal instruction, oversight and re-work) and does so within the allotted time.

- Maintains a high say/do ratio and drives accordingly via direct / indirect influencing - does not let things fall thru the cracks

- Actively monitors action plans to ensure issues are addressed and changes are instituted.

Communication :

- Ensures timely and clear communication with dotted and direct line management (MBB / site leadership).

- Ensures frequent and clear communication with local management and other field personal (including peers within the CI group).

- Provides clearly structured and compelling written communications.

- Written communication evidences thoughtful preparation & clear, focused delivery of cogent points w/ clear narrative structure

- Prepares well written and easily understandable documents that facilitate timely and efficient project work & decision making

- Uses the appropriate communication style to clearly articulate issues/ideas/solutions/progress at all levels.

Critical Thinking :

- Regularly challenges the status-quo and suggests changes and improvements to existing processes and procedures.

- Quick to leverage critical thinking skills in summarizing problem statements and arriving at core business needs

- Understands the business and effectively links CI activities with business objectives.

- Effectively negotiates and obtains the buy-in w/ local leaders for improvement projects.

- Effectively leverages technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

- Identifies best practices and effectively applies them to / shares them with other areas of the organization.

Leadership :

- Performance Driven takes lead and ownership to assess and act on needs/opportunities.

- Acts as agent to identify talents and resources locally and company-wide.

- Viewed as a respected partner and well-informed business advisor to operational management (advice and input is highly regarded).

- Client Focus is a champion for the client. Adept at creating winning outcomes for both parties.

- Persistent and with courage in conviction. Drives tough issues appropriately with due accountability.
