Key Responsibilities -
This role would be housed under Category Marketing and will lead the Content and Catalog charter for TVs & Home Appliances. This person would be expected to work closely with the category team, marketing team, brand product teams and suitable agencies / vendors to execute the Content & Catalog roadmap with the objective of building as a research destination for TVs & Home Appliances.
- Understand the business strategy and translate this to an execution roadmap on Content and Catalog - think through relevant content investments, discovery points, catalog quality, etc.
- Good understanding of consumer behavior across touchpoints - marketing touchpoints, pre-purchase leg (Search, Browse, Merch, Catalog & payment touchpoints) - Working closely with key stake holders (internal and external) - should have had people interfacing opportunity in the past
- Vendor Management: Working closely with the creative and media agency to plan and launch new content assets - should have front ended conversations with agencies in his past roles
- Providing pro-active direction & ideas for campaigns/projects on all aspects- new value propositions, new product designs & relevant marketing campaigns etc.

Knowledge & Skills expected:
- MBA from Tier 1-2 business school

- Flair for marketing and consumer behavior and ability to think customer backwards
- Creative thinker with a passion for ideas and good understanding of using media channels, content innovations, and product touchpoints to increase conversion across customer purchase funnel
- Great attention to detail and vendor management skills
- Strong program management skills, multi-tasking ability & interpersonal communication - ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams on fragmented workstreams
- Good manager as well as individual contributor
- Proactive, self-starter & highly motivated with high bias for action

Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of traditional content media & product management functions
- Knowledge of tools like omniture, google analytics etc. is a good to have
- Ability to create excellent and articulate presentations and plans

- Excellent ideation skills and on the go thinking
- Proficient with office software
