Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Commercial Development Manager, Biomedical Products
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Development Manager to lead our biomedical products division. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial development of biomedical products, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostics. As a Senior Commercial Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing strategic plans, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities for the biomedical products division, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the division that align with overall company goals and objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative products that meet customer needs and exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to develop and refine product strategies
- Develop pricing strategies and manage product pricing to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with the R&D team to identify new product development opportunities and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
- Develop and manage the division's budget and forecast revenue and expenses
- Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership on the division's performance and progress towards goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial development within the biomedical products industry, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostics
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful products and achieving revenue targets - Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets and financial forecasts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Total Experience 10+ years and more years would be a bonus.
- Materials sales and/or a large network of contacts at Medical Device Manufacturers.
- B2B (Business to Medical Device Manufacturers) sales.
- Bio medical engineering, great experience in selling to medical device companies.
- Good network in bio-medical industry.
- Will take full responsibility of the India landscape.
- Strong project manager skills, good network of R&D centres.
- Senior level stakeholder management like CEOs.
