Sr Manager/ Chief Manager-Actuarial -Shareholder Reporting and Prophet Modeling

Position Title: Sr Manager/ Chief Manager-Actuarial

Role: Shareholder Reporting and Prophet Modeling

Location: Mumbai HO

Experience: 10+ years in Life insurance company / Big 4 Firm with Life Insurance clients

Key Responsibilities:

Modelling:

- Responsible to develop, monitor and deliver Prophet model to the internal stakeholders

- Documentation of the model functionality and model changes

- Review of existing model functionalities, improve efficiency and accuracy of the model

- Review of existing model architecture and make it more efficient, wherever possible

- Manage the model development process within the model governance policy

- Provide technical support on Prophet to the AFLI team members on ongoing basis

- Coordinate with the stakeholders for model requirements and deliver as per their requirement

- Responsible for coordinating with the external/internal vendors/stakeholders in setting up IT infrastructure for Solvency II/IFRS/RBC framework

- Responsible for coordinating with the knowledge partner for modelling requirements that may come up for Solvency II/IFRS/RBC and ensure implementation of the same

Shareholder Reporting:

- Perform VNB calculation through Prophet for proposed new products

- Responsible for Asset Liability Management (Monitor asset liability profile of funds, responsible for setting duration gap to be maintained etc.)

- Perform experience analysis for assumption setting for EV, VNB & planning, feedback to the management and influence decision making

Candidate Requirement:

- 8+ years of actuarial work experience

- Prior hands-on experience in modeling actuarial software is mandatory

- Should be capable of managing a team

- Good understanding of insurance product features and regulations

- Excellent analytical and communication skills
