Job Summary :
Assist in product ideation, capability development, regulatory filing & launch and in-life product management. Also responsible for adherence to standard operating processes agreed for product development and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop innovative product ideas backed through market research/workshops
- Rigorous market segment analysis, customer need analysis
- Ensure speed to market by adherence to product calendar
- Protect New Business Margin
- Manage the rigorous process of IRDAI filing documentation and interaction with IRDAI officials for smoother product approval
- End-to-end project management for - Go To Market- which includes - System changes, training module development, website interface, marketing collaterals etc
- Working knowledge of developing and implementing IT platforms for new products and launches - responsible for creation of business requirement document with respect to all stakeholders.
- Branch visits to interact with agents, DSTs, brokers to do specific focus groups as well as feedback on current products
- Provide subject matter expertise in policy administration issues & suggest effective & efficient timely solutions
Key Stakeholders :
- Internal : Corporate Actuarial, IT, Legal, Finance, Channel Heads, Operations, Claims, Underwriting and Marketing.
- External : Insurance Regulator (IRDA)
Measures Of Success :
- Product delivery as per the product calendar
- Stakeholder management by addressing their requirements through product solutions
- Stakeholder query management
- Achievement of product mix to deliver planned top & bottom line
Qualification & Experience :
- Management Graduate/ Graduate with 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Product Management of minimum 2 years (preferably in Health Insurance)
- Knowledge of File & Use documentation of IRDAI
- Should have handled - Go To Market- projects in Insurance sector
