JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the complete people's agenda for all Sales channels (Agency, Bancassurance & Alliances, Direct Sales Team) in the West Zone. Needs to develop the HR strategy and ensure effective implementation. In this role will need to develop and maintain a team of competent employees, create a high performance and positive work culture; develop the succession planning road map; manage improvement in Employee Satisfaction
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy :
- Co-create the entire people strategy including effective Manpower Planning and Forecasting system
- Deploy & implement strategy within assigned channels in order to Complete HR Strategy planning
Organizational design :
- Determine organisational structure enabling business requirements
- Propose & deploy structure for assigned channels to ensure an optimum structure that drives business growth
Succession planning :
- Plan and execute the succession planning roadmap for the functions
- Develop tolls/processes enabling career conversations between employee and supervisor / HR
Talent acquisition :
- Develop the sourcing plan and deploy a recruitment plan
- Optimize source mix and hiring cost - Ensuring hiring within agreed TAT
Compensation management :
- Support business in decision making (Fitment) & allocation of compensation quantum for assigned patch
- Drive moderation of ratings for the assigned patch
- Support creation of incentive programs that support strategic business initiatives, deploy and monitor effectiveness
Performance Management
- Coordinate the implementation of Performance management processes for the channel - Assist the business heads in making promotion decisions
- Identify critical positions & suitable candidates for development
- Oversee implementation of annual performance appraisal process
HR operations
- Provide feedback on processes & enhancements required in order to ensure alignment of HR processes with business objectives
- Ensure alignment with all statutory requirement
Employee relations
- Monitor investigation and action taken on Employee Grievances / Disciplinary issues, violation of ethical norms
- Provide coaching & counselling for own patch in order to build a motivated team; and ensure smooth & cordial relations.
