Role: Fixed Income - Trader

Designation: Senior Manager / Chief Manager

About the Role:

At any point of time, the company has a Cash and Equivalents and short term investments of close to Rs 10,000 Crores. A part of this, is invested in the Fixed Income Market. The role of the Trader will be to manage this investment in the Indian Fixed Income market.

The role would require end to end execution skills from ideation, trade execution & management etc

Job Description - 

1. Trading in the entire spectrum of Indian fixed income instruments & related derivatives including Government of India Securities, State Loans, Treasury Bills, Corporate Bonds, Commercial Papers, Certificates of Deposit, OIS/INBMK swaps and Interest Rate Futures, etc.

2. Trading and investing in Corporate Bond market: Forming view on expected yield curve movement and thereafter managing investments

3. Generating arbitrage opportunities by investing in Treasury Bills, Certificate of deposits and Commercial Papers.

4. Providing inputs and views to build medium to long term investment portfolio (AFS) to generate capital gains.

5. Participating in primary auctions of Central and State Government Securities.
