Our client is seeking a Senior Manager - Category Management as we build the team. We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to scale a flagship business.   The successful candidate will be the P&L owner and Customer Experience owner, working across Categories to formulate and deliver a strategy for selection customers need or want ultrafast, profitably. This role is responsible for working with marketing to determine and drive our marketing category promotions strategy and implement this. The role will also monitor and research industry trends globally to make sure that they continue to offer the best experience.  Ultimately, this role is responsible for the championing the customer, and driving requirements into Product and Tech teams. Support functions across National Sales, Marketing and Trans teams will be accountable to this candidate.  He/she must be an effective leader and communicator working with our most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and groups. He or she will have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership values and relationship management skills.   Eligibility Criteria   - 10-12+ years experience, including Consulting experience - Strong academic track record   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills   - Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities   - Strong numerical and analytical aptitude   - Proven experience leading cross-functional projects   - Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment   - Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines   - Detail-oriented   - Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools   The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
