Role Description:
This is a critical role in the company. The incumbent in the role will be responsible for leading and enhancing the relationships with the Banks, NBFCs, Fintech and other ecosystem players ensuring capital supply for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Building New Partnerships:
- Build a deep understanding of company's value proposition and how it adds value to Lenders.
- Explain the proposition to Banks and NBFCs for launching new partnerships.
- Liaison with product, credit, operations and technology teams to on-board new relationships
- Negotiate the commercial and legal agreements with lenders
- Problem-solving for blockers in onboarding a new partner
Grow Existing Partnerships:
- Coordinate ongoing day to day relationships with lenders to ensure smooth running of partnerships
- Act as single point of contact for all internal and lender side escalations
- Engage with internal and lenders' teams to resolve on-going issues
- Engage with lenders to lead new policy and product initiatives
Debt Raise:
- Pitch to Banks, NBFCs and other financial institutions for raising debt for inhouse NBFC
- Prepare and share relevant information and data with existing and potential lenders
- Engage with relevant internal and lender teams for resolving queries from lenders
- Lead commercial and legal negotiations with lenders for new debt
- Manage day to day relationships with lenders and resolve on going issues
Business Development and New Products:
- Pitch to Banks and NBFCs for partnerships with company
- Co-create and launch new products with market participants
Attributes we are looking for:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in Debt Raise/FinTech tie-up/Co-lending role at a leading FinTech or NBFC
- Experience in coordinating with product, credit and operations teams to resolve operational issues
- CA or MBA from top tier institute
- Should be strong in relationship building, service orientation, follow-ups and closure
- Good at problem-solving and project management
- Excellent analytical skills, motivated, hardworking, and self-driven leader
- Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential
