EHT Capability Lead @IDC
Job Summary:
The role focusses on being an Industry expert as well as driving the culture of - Think Industry- . The individual must be able to have meaningful conversations with the clients and leadership on the Industry Trends and their impact to Business.
- Responsible for steering and directing the Industry Agenda in IDC. He/ she will create a footprint of innovative enterprise solution offerings and assets that can be utilized by the high tech companies and improve their overall profitability
- Responsible for understanding the EHT client base and help our clients to outperform in the Digital and subscribe-able economy
- Responsible for creating and implementing solutions for EHT clients around Sales and Channel Incentives, Subscription Management solutions, Product Lifecycle Services
- Responsible for incubating offerings to grow Ent Tech & Med Tech domains.
- Leveraging cloud and visualization solutions for our clients
- Responsible for taking clients through the Digital Manufacturing journey, providing M2H2M solutions.
- Experience in working in Medical Electronics, Aerospace and Defense or Semi-conductor Industry would be preferable
Key Responsibilities:
Growth and Delivery @the core:
- Leverage the Industry knowledge to drive down the Cost to Serve, increase Revenue and Improve quality of delivery.
- Leverage Industry Experts within the practice to build - solutions to win-
- Work with the Solution Architects and Delivery leads to implement the Industry assets and offerings for supporting growth ie. increased Revenue, improved CI and increased wins
Innovation @the core:
- Lead the Innovation agenda for our clients from the GDN based on their specific Industry
- Leverage the IDC Innovation Program for refining and implementing innovative ideas from other industries
- Lead and support co-innovation with the clients using Industry best Practices
Application Services @core:
- Create and Reuse - Application Services Industry specific assets and offerings in all engagements eg. AO Industry Packs, Lean SI offerings-
- Anchor the Induction of global Account Executives and develop a curriculum for Account Executive Industry Enablement
- Build and Enhance Industry Showcases to showcase the Industry Capabilities of the practice
- Strive to develop an Industry Culture within the Practice to support - GDN-led- delivery
- Create, Harvest and Reuse - Industry specific assets and offerings in all engagements eg. Oracle RODOD, AAES, Portal of the future, Digital Video viz. AVS, Digital Advertising..etc.
People and Culture @core:
- Enable the practice with Industry Trainings and Certifications
- Create forums where the Industry specialists and experts get a differentiated experience of the Industry eg. participation in external events and conferences
- Develop a culture of - Think Industry- at the IDC
- With internal training and hiring, create Industry experts (top of the V skills viz. Consulting profiles, architects, Analysts) who can tell the Industry story during Sales visits, Sales Orals.
- Manage the budget to engage the practice in the GDN Industry Program
Relationships:
- Reports to: CMT EHT Industry Capability Lead at IDC
- External Relationships: The Industry Managing Director, Engagement Partners and Executives/Unit Leads and Executives/Client Executives, IDC Leadership and Clients CXOs
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate/PhD in Manufacturing-Engineering Discipline preferably with a well recognized MBA
- Recommended Industry Certifications and Industry Affiliations
- Work Requirements: Ability to commute to and between IDC centers and client sites; ability to travel as required
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated EHT Industry expertise
- SeMember of the Business Leadership Team of a large EHT company

- First class commercial awareness, particularly in relation to large programs
