- Season Forecasting : Bringing all the learning together to build on for the next season forecasting and hence creating range assortment based on channel requirements and bookings
- Retail Planning: Prepare trading plan for channel to guide the flow of merchandise through the season
- In-season Merchandising: Lead weekly trading calls, giving summary of previous week performance/in-stock/future deliveries
- Plan allocations as per trading plan
- Replenishment planning: plan replenishment priority based on trading & planned targets
- Plan stock levels at stores/sites & monitor them regularly
- Refresh ranges on regular basis to keep merchandise seasonally relevant based on trading plan & sales out targets
- Addition/Reduction of inventory calls based on trading plan & weekly sales target
- Working closely with Marketing / Visual display staff and department heads together and decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sale
