Senior Manager - Business Finance - Internet/Online

About The Team:

The Business Finance team partners with the business team to drive growth sustainably. The team drives efficiency in the investment being made to drive top-line and bottom-line. Focus remains on improving category margins and minimizing financial risks by understanding the key business drivers, analyse key financial metrics, provide value add analysis, support to sales / finance management (budget analysis and financial forecasting)

About The Role:

- Senior Manager - Business Finance partners with business / brand heads to provide strategic guidance and analytic/decision making support for evaluating new business ideas.

- This role has primary P&L responsibility (actuals, planning and forecasting) for the business and will need to partner with many internal teams (Business Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Analytics and Accounting) in delivering the business objectives.

- This role requires a self-starter with strong business modelling skills, a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners.

- This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across the company and requires strong verbal and written communication skills.

- The candidate must establish and control budget, drive financial discipline in the company.

- The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on professional integrity.

Qualification & Skills:

- Post-Graduate from a tier 1University / business school or is a Chartered Accountant

- 6-8 years of work experience

- Prior experience in ecommerce/online company preferred

- Strong analytical rigour and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills

- Proficient in MS Excel

- Proactive, takes initiative and self-motivated
