About the Role:
- As a Senior Manager in Business Development for Working Capital Solutions, you will be responsible for driving top-line business targets through strategic sourcing, relationship management, and product innovation.
- Your role encompasses leadership in sales promotion, new product launches, customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth Strategy:
- Strategically source business through channel teams (ASL, DSA) and strengthen relationships with bank branches.
- Implement cross-selling strategies to optimize revenue streams.
Sales and Relationship Management:
- Lead sales promotion initiatives via DSAs, Sales Executives, and events to enhance market presence.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through expos, events, and targeted activities.
Product Innovation:
- Drive the successful launch of new products into the market.
- Oversee all aspects of product lifecycle from inception to disbursement.
Customer Satisfaction and Operational Excellence:
- Ensure highest standards of customer service, managing end-to-end product activities.
- Collaborate effectively with Credit, Operations, and other departments to streamline processes.
Channel Partner Management:
- Acquire and manage channel partners (Connectors, DSAs) to expand product reach.
- Monitor and enhance performance of Area Relationship Managers (ARMs) and deepen client engagements.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Safeguard against fraudulent and risky proposals, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Continuous Improvement and Training:
- Provide constructive feedback to central teams for product enhancement.
- Conduct training sessions for Sales Executives and DSAs on sales techniques and product knowledge.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Foster a performance-driven culture through effective team management.
- Motivate and empower teams to achieve high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in senior-level business development within the financial services sector, preferably in working capital solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of achieving ambitious business targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive change.
- Sound knowledge of financial products, operations, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across departments effectively
