Business Development/Sales Manager
Position Description :
As a Business Development Manager your role is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. You must plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
You must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. This job also requires growing and retaining existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to the clients. You will manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company's competitors.

Responsibilities :
- To acquire wholesalers/manufacturers/merchants/retailers/sellers to set shop on wydr.in
- Build and maintain database of online & offline wholesalers, manufacturers & Brands on PAN INDIA basis.
- Fixing Meeting, presentation with wholesalers/manufacturers/merchants/retailers/sellers.
- Coordinating with the in house teams for Merchant On boarding.
- Work with the Web analyst to measure and maintain the accuracy/Quality of dashboards Catalog and success metrics.
- Responsible for understating Merchants overall strategic goals and translating these into strategies for consumer acquisition, conversion and retention.
- Ability to gain the respect and trust of wholesalers/manufacturers/Merchants and to help position Wydr as a strategic business partner for key stakeholders.
- Responsible for identifying new wholesalers/manufacturers/merchants/retailers/sellers with his/her respective Social network.
- Analyse website traffic and provide recommendations, Conduct regular checks on the performance of Merchants Catalog.
- Coordinating with appropriate teams to manage online advertising, banner campaigns, text links and social media programs for different Merchants.
- Merchandise assortment planning grouping the merchandise mix at different levels from a high-level grouping to the lowest level of the stock-keeping unit.
- Liquidation of slow movers careful planning of markdowns during off sale to prevent excess margin loss.
- Procurement of brands, negotiation, Quality check, working on pricing.
- Keeping a track of current season movements in offline stores
- Working closely with brands staff and department heads to decide how products should be shot for display online as also for product descriptions
- Calculating OTB for each brand, style range and categories and handled the price point analysis and product performance analysis.
- Handling FMCG category.
