Position - Sr. Business Development Manager
Need candidates from project sales experience
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Identifying, researching and targeting new business prospects.
- Forecasting sales based on sales funnel concept for 30 /60/90 days and work with senior management to develop winning strategy and close business
- Responsible for identifying & nurturing key corporate relationships (Director, CFO, Admin Head, Procurement Head).
- Handling all the Key accounts of major corporate.
- Develop Sales presentation strategies based on the Project requirement.
- Increasing market awareness of the company & the brand.
- Management Information/Reporting Monthly, Quarterly and any need based MIS that may be required for any Review
- RFQ & RFI, Pre-qualification Process Management/Strong documentation experience
- Pursuing Tenders & BOQ's along with the Estimation and Project team
- Developing a strong database of key people MD/CFO/Commercial Head of organizations
- Keeping abreast of latest developments - Corporate, Residential, commercial, industrial projects in India
- Working cross-functionally with other departments like Estimation, Procurement, Finance, Legal
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
- Gaining new appointments from hot and cold leads.
- Developing strong working relationships with prospective new clients.
- Producing monthly pipeline reports for management purposes.
- Writing marketing emails & then sending them to customers & sales prospects.
- Assisting in organizing promotional events.
- Liaising on a daily basis with clients and Parent companies. Planning & implementing marketing activities across all online & offline channels.
- Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate business development ideas.
- Active networking using professional networking tools and online websites.
- Responding to client requirements and providing specification/ solution documents, proposals in line with the requirement.
- Identifying potential new clients and business opportunities and persuading new customers to place business with the company.
