Sr. Manager - Business Development (Product Engineering)
Responsibilities in detail :
1. Responsible for selling Mechanical Engineering services into USA
2. Provide market information and feedback, assist in strategy development
3. Develop sales plans, manage direct sales budget
4. Pursue opportunities, place bids, negotiate and close orders
5. Manage sales team members and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual objectives
6. Hire, train, mentor BD team members.
7. Provide guidance and mentoring for BD team
8. Establish contact with prospects, secure RFPs, submit proposals, negotiate, get orders
9. Attend concalls / make presentations to leads and prospects
10. Follow-up leads and prospects
11. Evaluate customer requirements and develop solution with tech team support.
12. Manage customer relationship and ensure effective account management.
13. Identify and implement process improvements
14. Ensure effective co-ordination with other departments
15. Coordinate pilot projects, and initiate paid projects
16. Travel as and when required.
Minimum 12 Years of B2B sales experience, of which last 5+ years should be in engineering sales experience into the US market Experience selling into Industrial & HVAC Markets
