- Conduct competitive analyses and provide recommendations on new product and services, including strategy and growth opportunities.
- Progressively grow new industrial markets.
- Attend industry events to increase market share.
- Maintain accurate quote register to ensure effective tracking and follow up on quotes; ensure quote register is updated monthly for management reviews.
- Account reviews monthly with leadership team - prospecting, new business and account reviews / growing existing accounts.
- Provide support to regional sales counterparts from lead generation to contract execution.
- Provide technical support for project submittals.
- Gather competitor information across market segments.
- Manage industry events participation.
- Major project tracking and review quarterly with the leadership team.
- Improve commercial terms such as secured payment terms.
- Assist with collection of overdue payments.
- Identify key growth opportunities, challenges and trends.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Commercial sales activities in the absence of the Business Development Manager - Commercial in his absence.
- Training and development of direct reports across all aspects of their role.
- Comply with all QHSE requirements.
- Other duties may be included in line with business needs.
