Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the animal nutrition segment.
- Identify and target potential clients, specifically shrimp and fish feed manufacturers, to introduce novel ingredients and supplements.
- Secure deals by effectively communicating product benefits, features, and competitive advantages.
- Lead negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract agreements with clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to align business objectives and achieve sales targets.
- Represent the company at trade events, conferences, and meetings with prospective clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the feed manufacturing industry.
- Travel as necessary to meet clients, establish connections, and promote products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition or Aqua Nutrition encouraged.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a track record of successfully closing deals in the animal nutrition sector.
- Experience in selling to clients outside of India is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Telugu is advantageous.
- Ability to travel frequently and represent the company professionally.
- Proven ability to engage with key management professionals in feed manufacturing industries.
