1. Develop and implement strategic business plans for expanding customer base and regional presence.
2. Conduct market analysis and research on competition to develop pricing approaches and business cases for new products.
3. Assist prospective customers in drafting technical specifications for Requests for Proposal (RFP) to ensure viable product offerings.
4. Capture customer requirements, evaluate technical needs, and draft solutions in collaboration with R&D.
5. Track RFPs/RFIs, submit responses, and follow up on opportunities, including attending pre-bid meetings.
6. Prepare techno-commercial proposals, work on cost sheets, and submit responses to tenders and expressions of interest.
7. Create sales forecasts, analysis reports, and business plans for the current and next financial year.
8. Manage communication, relationship building, presentations, marketing events, and client relations.
9. Design and execute market penetration strategies and promotional activities to reach existing and new customers
10. Assist in drafting and reviewing contractual documents such as MoUs, NDAs, partnership agreements, and purchase orders.
11. Experience with defense organizations like DRDO, BEL, CABS, MOD, and defense giants such as TASL, TATA, and L&T for business and revenue generation.
