Qualification :
- In-depth knowledge in Business Process outsourcing solutions in Banking and Capital Markets domain
- Solution experience in either of the following areas
a) Governance Risk and Compliance
b) Capital Markets (Investment Banking, Brokerage, Funds etc)
- Managed end to end Rfx cycles to contracting
- Have a sound understanding competition landscape
- Advisor - Analyst interactions
- Extensive project management experience in deal management cycles
- Proven track record of winning data center opportunities.
Role : Manager/Senior Manager - BCM BPO Solution Designer
The Solution Designer :
- Is a member of sales pursuit solution team in Banking and Capital Markets
- Is an individual contributor with good interpersonal skills to manage all stakeholders
- He/she is responsible for solution design throughout the engagement life cycle (from Opportunity Creation through Contract Signature until solution hand-over to the Delivery Team), both for new customer engagements as well as for engagements with our installed customer base.
- The Solution Designer closely cooperates with delivery, portfolio and sales organizations in order to build the most optimized solution in terms of cost, price and risk.
- When required, he/she acts as an interlock between organisation and the Client to ensure the proposed service solution addresses the customer's business needs and can be delivered at the best possible cost and time.
Primary Responsibilities & Deliverables :
Manages all deliverables pertaining to the relevant tower including :
- Solution quality (Effort estimation, team structure creation, infrastructure bill of material, Transition and Transformation approach)
- Solution delivery feasibility
- Risk mitigation and assumption management
- Financials
- Alignment of Client requirements to organisation services
- Participates in the development of Value Proposition.
- Leads Delivery leaders, SMEs and consultants in contributing to the solution on a day-to-day basis to manage assignments, schedule and deliverables.
- Prepares for and facilitates solution governance and approval reviews along with the bid management team
- Interfaces with the Solution Lead, Proposal Manager and Bid Manager.
- Assumes client-facing role as needed in participating in Yellow Pad presentations and other customer briefings.
- Delivers solution, cost/pricing models, and proposal content efficiently, effectively, and timely.
- Provides market price information for the technical solution.
- Ensures solution is complete, sound and priced accurately.
- Complies with internal procedures and policies around solution creation and bid management
- Responds to and supports the Bid Manager in executing the bid process.
- Knowledgeable of the technical aspects of the domain
- Clearly articulates solutions for the tower and explains why the solution is what it is and why that approach is of value to the client (understands the pros and cons of the solution).
- Can explain how does the solution meets the client's goals and objectives.
- Can listen and adapt to client discussions "real time". Exhibits a confidence in the solution but also exhibits flexibility and willingness to listen and adapt.
- While possessing good technical knowledge, they must have a developed business acumen.
- Understands and can readily articulate how their tower or solution integrates with the larger holistic solution for the client.
- Understands and can articulate all aspects of transition/transformation/migration from the current situation to the proposed end state. This includes major milestones, timelines and manpower (both supplier and client).
- Understands and can articulate the solution from a people resource perspective -- tower solution maps seamlessly to the HR people plan
- Understands and can articulate all aspects of Financial and Operational Responsibility Matrix for their tower.
- Understands and can articulate their part of the ongoing delivery and Governance.
- Ensures solution components align with standards and best practices.
- Ensures cost and pricing models align with standards and best practices.
- Delivers high-quality and complete proposal documents.
- Keeps to the schedule.
- Identifies resource issues and escalates to the Solution Lead.
- Minimizes issues and inconsistencies.
Organizational Linkage :
- Collaborates with Solution Lead and internal/external technical specialists
- Provides appropriate linkage and communication with customer/partner contacts
