Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assist in managing the organization's bank relationships and liquidity management to ensure optimal cash flow.
- Raise resources through various debt products including Bank borrowings, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs), Inter-Corporate Deposits (IC), Commercial Paper, external borrowings, Subordinate Debt, etc.
- Build and maintain banking relationships, driving negotiations with bankers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage all borrowing relationships with banks to reduce interest costs.
- Analyze various financial scenarios and risks, reporting findings to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Forecast medium and long-term funding requirements and hedging strategies, if applicable.
- Manage daily Cash Flow for the Company, ensuring timely investment of surplus funds on a day-to-day basis.
- Implement interest rate risk management strategies and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Assist in preparing management and board reports related to treasury activities.
- Collaborate closely with credit rating agencies to maintain the company's overall credit rating and manage specific issuances effectively.
- Oversee all treasury-related activities, ensuring coordination with the treasury back office and middle office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in treasury management, preferably in a corporate setting.
- In-depth knowledge of debt markets and various debt products, including bank borrowings, NCDs, CP, etc.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to assess risks and opportunities in different financial scenarios.
- Experience in cash flow management, forecasting, and interest rate risk management.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with banks and financial institutions.
- Familiarity with credit rating agencies and processes for maintaining and improving credit ratings.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to prepare comprehensive management and board reports.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
