Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to join our team as the Manager of Strategy at our payments fintech company. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving higher product adoption by merchants, developing and executing growth strategies, and leveraging cross-functional exposure to achieve our business objectives. We are specifically looking for candidates who have experience working with D2C consumer internet companies and have a background in renowned consulting firms such as MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or Big 4. If you possess exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of the payments industry, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Product Adoption: Develop and implement strategies to increase product adoption among our merchant base, focusing on key metrics such as transaction volume, user engagement, and revenue growth. Identify opportunities to enhance the merchant onboarding experience and drive usage of our payment solutions.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine the company's overall growth strategy. Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation to identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams including product management, marketing, sales, operations, and technology to align growth initiatives, share insights, and coordinate efforts to drive merchant acquisition and retention. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Market Research and Insights: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Generate actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and identify potential areas of growth and differentiation.
Financial Analysis and Modeling: Perform financial analysis and modeling to assess the viability and impact of strategic initiatives. Develop business cases, financial forecasts, and ROI analyses to evaluate investment opportunities and guide resource allocation decisions.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape, staying abreast of industry trends, disruptive technologies, and regulatory changes. Conduct competitive intelligence research to identify opportunities and threats, and recommend strategies to maintain our competitive advantage.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate and present strategic recommendations to senior executives and key stakeholders. Influence decision-making by providing well-reasoned insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of strategy professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, set clear objectives, and develop talent within the team.
Profile :
1. The candidate MUST be from Tier-A business school
2. 3+ years of experience in growth across D2C internet consumer organizations
3. Entrepreneurial Bent of Mind-Interested in building 0-1 journey and building from the scratch
4. Consultative in approach with sharp personality and excellent communication
5. Strong understanding of Fintech and payments industry
