Senior Manager/AVP - Private Bank
- As a Senior Manager / Assistant Vice President (AVP) at a Private Bank, you will be responsible for overseeing branch performance, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
- You will focus on increasing the branch's Gross Loan (G. ) size, enhancing profitability, and ensuring outstanding customer service and compliance with quality standards.
- Your role will also include optimizing branch operations, cross-selling products, and developing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Performance Monitoring:
- Regularly review and analyze branch performance metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address performance gaps.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute strategies to ensure the branch consistently meets or exceeds its sales targets.
- Monitor sales activities and performance of branch staff.
- Implement action plans to address underperformance and leverage opportunities for growth. Gross Loan (G. ) Size Expansion:
- Focus on increasing the branch's Gross Loan size by promoting cross-selling and third-party products.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the branch's loan portfolio.
Profit Maximization and Fee-Based Income:
- Work towards maximizing profits by enhancing fee-based income sources.
- Identify and implement initiatives to increase branch revenue streams.
Audit and Compliance:
- Ensure the branch adheres to audit and compliance standards.
- Implement and monitor processes to achieve outstanding audit ratings.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service at the branch.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
Quality Standards Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation of quality standards and procedures.
- Achieve and maintain outstanding quality scores through rigorous monitoring and continuous improvement.
Product Cross-Selling:
- Promote and facilitate the cross-selling of liability products, including tax-saving bonds, mutual funds, IPOs, POS, fixed deposits (FDRs), current and savings accounts (CA-SA), and life and general insurance.
- Drive sales of asset products such as housing loans, car loans, and personal loans.
Operational Cost Optimization:
- Monitor and manage branch operating costs to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
Staff Training and Development:
- Provide functional training to branch staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Develop and mentor staff to foster career growth and improve branch performance.
Motivation and Development:
- Inspire and motivate branch staff to achieve individual and team goals.
- Develop and implement strategies for staff development and performance improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in branch management or a similar senior banking role.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving branch performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategic improvements.
- Experience in cross-selling financial products and managing a diverse team.
- Relevant qualifications in finance, banking, or business management (e. , MBA, relevant certifications)
