We have position vacant with Insurance company for Actuarial based at Bangalore.

Position Description :

Position Title : Senior Manager - Actuarial

Business Unit : Actuarial

Reporting To : Senior Vice President - Actuarial

No Of Reportees : 2

Location : Bangalore - Head Office

Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish) :

- The function will be to monitor the modeling team and providing support the policy servicing Department, Experience analysis & valuation section.

Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned) :

- Supervising the modelling team and providing support to the policy servicing department.

- Periodic analysis of experiences and providing support to valuation team.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position) :

- Should have passed all the CT series subjects.

- Should have sound knowledge of PROPHET & DCS.

- Previous exposure in the area of experience analysis is preferable.

Personal Attributes & Competencies :

- Should have good communication skill.

- Should have the capacity to manage the team.

Performance Measures (The quantitative measures of the job's overall responsibility) :

- Ensuring proper support of modelling team in timely manner.

- Performing regular experience investigations in a time bound manner.

- Providing support to policy service department promptly.

PERSON PROFILE (for the Ideal candidate) :

Base Location : Bangalore

Experience (Min to Max) : About 4 / 5 years

Specific Qualification Requirement If any( Eg: CA, LLB) :Should have cleared the CT series subjects

Industry Preference (Insurance, Telecom, BFSI) Insurance :

Specific Skill Sets and Weight age assigned to various skill sets Good knowledge of Prophet & DCS modelling.

- Position reports into Sr. VP - Actuarial

- Direct Reports to the position 2/3

- Any other specific requirements/ preferences Earlier exposure in experience analysis area is preferable.
