JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a Chief of Staff/Strategic Initiatives Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving multiple strategic initiatives, from conceptualization to execution, while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. You will play a critical role in drafting business cases, influencing organizational contributions, and strategizing ways to scale operations efficiently. Your success will be defined by your ability to drive business impact, manage cross-departmental collaboration, and offer strategic guidance across key organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Program Management: Lead and manage multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless execution with minimal direction. Support senior leadership in formulating business initiatives and executing them successfully.
- Business Case Development: Work on developing and drafting business cases for new ideas and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational strategy.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between senior business leaders, the COO office, and the OC, ensuring smooth communication, decision-making, and alignment on key initiatives and milestones.
- Operational Efficiency: Propose and test process improvements to drive efficiency at scale across teams and initiatives.
- Leadership Support: Assist leadership in communicating decisions, managing programs, and implementing initiatives across departments.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to provide quality financial analysis, develop strategies, and define key performance metrics to measure success.
- Planning & Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of major meetings, offsites, and strategic business reviews.
- Quarterly and Annual Planning: Assist in quarterly and annual planning processes, providing strategic insights and managing timelines and milestones for successful execution of business goals.
- Problem-Solving & Analysis: Work on complex, demanding business problems, conducting rigorous analysis and providing actionable insights.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
- 8-15 years of experience in a business or executive management role, with a proven track record in driving strategic initiatives.
- Experience in a Chief of Staff and/or Business Management role, especially advising executive leadership and managing interdepartmental collaboration.
- Strong ethical foundation, with a personal code of integrity, inclusion, and trust.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing challenging projects and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Proven experience in organizing and leading cross-functional teams through the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, with a history of providing valuable business insights.
- Reputation for being a true business partner to senior leadership and building strong collaborative relationships across teams.
- Comfort and adaptability with ambiguity, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
