Education, Knowledge & Experience:
- MBA/ PGDM with 8 years + relevant pharma experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of global pharma industry
- Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical approach and strategic thinking
- Good verbal and written communication skills with networking ability
Responsibilities:
In-licensing activities (USA market)
- Opportunity identification for in-licensing business for USA market
- Early launch and tactical opportunities that can help to fill gaps in start-plan
- Long term, niche and complex opportunities that should be a good strategic fit (like vertical integration, in-house manufacturing etc)
- Partner/ Alliance management - add new opportunities (product or market) with existing partners.
- Commercial negotiation, contract closure and presentation to CFT and ELT
- End to end deal management from opportunity identification, commercial negotiation, due diligence, contract negotiation, CFT/ELT presentations, to deal closure and support for launch activities.
- Generate CI data for peers, partners, products, and market
- Analyse market (competition and pricing) using various methodologies (primary and secondary research) and databases IQVIA, import/export, Global data, clinical trials
- Closely work with regional BD teams to strength the in-licensing pipeline and extend products into different territories.
- Identify and close CDMO deals for niche and complex generics for worldwide territories.
Qualitative Market Event monitoring and competitive intelligence:
- Generate monthly reports summarising key events including new approvals, NDA/ANDA filings, PIV listings, new launches, new product line extensions, combinations, EXIM data and its impact on company's commercial and pipeline portfolio.
- Closely track competitor companies and generate monthly review of their activities and implications for Company using IMS, export/Import and other relevant databases
- Benchmark Company performance and productivity vis- vis competitor companies based on data available
- Work closely together with the regional business teams and BD/portfolio team and provide them with analyses/reports based on pharmaceutical audit and other secondary data (e.g. value, volume, and price) and associated databases.
- Analyse sales, market, competitors and market research data to provide Business Insights teams with reports. Publish weekly/monthly product performance updates and analysis. Generate insights based on secondary or primary research data
- Prepare competition/market intelligence database for Company's products including key competitors, their DS/DP capacities, key strengths and weaknesses.
