Senior Manager/Assistant Manager - Indirect Taxation - Big4 - CA

Senior/AM-Indirect Taxation-Big 4

- Computation / Preparation transaction tax workings and monthly filing of APJ GST / VAT

- (For Malaysia / New Zealand / Singapore or any of the APJ / EMEA region (Oman), etc.

- Preparation and Monitoring GST / VAT Returns and proper claim of input tax credit VAT and GST refunds

- Responding to Audits, notices, and litigations.

- Reconciliations of Indirect Tax accounts of various APJ entities which requires clear understanding of

- Accounting Clear knowledge and understanding of Indirect tax laws and respective country compliance

- Preparation of Revenue reconciliations between revenue as per books of accounts and GST revenue reported

- Apply advanced knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, theories, and techniques in conducting activities supporting the development, monitoring and maintenance of indirect tax ledger accounts.

- Performs special projects requiring research and analysis as requested for management decision-making

- Understanding of GST / VAT payment process

- Should be proficient in excel, good to have knowledge of SAP and good in data management.

- Should be well versed with APJ GST provisions and accounting standard

- Ability manages and handle client independently

Desired Candidate profile :

- CAs with 2-4 years of experience

- Prior experience in indirect taxation (GST / VAT) compliances and Return filing

- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimum supervision.

- Advanced understanding of broad accounting/finance fundamentals

- Strong organizational analytical communication and problem-solving skills

- Refined communication skills e.g. verbal written interpersonal and presentation

- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position
