The Senior Manager, APAC HR Shared Services will be responsible for launching the APAC HR Shared Services Center and for providing ongoing leadership, direction and prioritization for all transactional HR services and technology support.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Directs, plans and manages HR Shared Service Center teams in accordance with the strategic direction of Global Shared services teams
- Provides strategic vision to promote efficiencies in process and provide effective HR systems.
- Collaborates with the various teams including HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Expertise (ie Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, Legal, Finance) to streamline processes to provide best in class HR service delivery
- Leads the Shared Service Center, HRIS and Data Integrity areas to ensure that all processes, systems and databases are accurate, timely and well maintained.
- Identifies opportunities to outsource routine activities / transactions, develops requirements, interviews vendors and makes recommendations accordingly.
- Ensures team structures and responsibilities align with organization objectives to secure appropriate escalation and customer service expectations are met or exceeded.
- Continuously improves existing processes to achieve simplification, efficiency, cost savings and customer satisfaction.
- Works along with the APAC HR leadership to work on policies / processes pertaining to the region
- Collaborate and Communicate changes to HR policy / processes across the organization
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires comprehensive understanding of HR generalist activities along with proven expertise in launching, managing and scaling shared services in a similar organization
- Demonstrable HR generalist / shared services experience with experience at management level
- Master or equivalent degree in Human resources / Business administration preferred
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
- Ability to design and implement processes resulting in great customer experience, with appropriate controls in place
- Strong project management capability for complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead significant change efforts associated with shared services implementation
- Thorough knowledge of Human Resource systems; Exposure to Workday is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations
- Ability to resolve associate issues and work in a highly matrix organization
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Power Point
- Strong understanding of Financial Accounting, Payroll and Tax concepts as well as legal and government reporting responsibilities.
