Senior Manager - Analytics - BFSI/BPO

Role: Sr Manager-Analytics

Job Location : Mumbai, Powai

Reporting To : Head-Analytics

The candidate should :

- Be the custodian of the Global Data Hub

- Participate in the global data forums and be a part of the global data and analytics community

- Deliver the data projects from conceptualisation to insights for the operating companies across the group

- Interact with Business and analytics heads of the group companies across the globe to identify their data and analytics needs

- Manage the global stakeholders on an ongoing basis while delivering on the Data and Analytics requirements

- Possess a strong expertise in data and business analytics and has strong interest in working with large datasets related to insurance domain

- Demonstrate capability to Manage a team of highly skilled Data and Business Analysts

- Display business acumen to be able to analyse, drive insights and create meaningful reports using large datasets

- Collaborate with the Database & IT teams to set-up processes related to Data capture/ extraction and maintenance

- Identify and liaise with external vendors to augment the Data set, perform basic analytics and create visualization

Technical skills :

- Knowledge of global Insurance industry is preferred

- Persuasive, collaborative business acumen with ability to drive the client interactions strategically and influence others.

- Have 10+ years of experience in data related engagements

- Hands-on experience in working on large and disperse data sets (including data cleansing & manipulation)

- Should have worked on SQL and data modelling concepts

- Knowledge of preparing advanced Excel based dashboards. Understanding of VBA Macros will be an added advantage

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights
