Sr Manager / AGM - Raw Material Purchase - Chemical Industry

Job Responsibilities:

- Experienced in Procurement & Purchase, Planning, Inventory Management, Order Management and Supplier/Vendor Management. Identifying & developing potential vendors for the right sourcing, thereby achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials; evaluating vendors performance & negotiating the price, delivery schedule & terms & conditions for attaining cost savings Strategic Planning the procurement of raw materials.

- Expertise in building & maintaining vendor relations, evaluating vendors, managing buyer processes, and analyzing reports Ensures optimization of all materials management activities including material scheduling, , inventory control, materials linearity, supplier performance measurement Facilitates interaction with Sourcing, Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, Order Management, ETO and Quality Assurance in support of the business strategic goals.

- Global interaction with overseas suppliers as well as other plants on supply and demand side. Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming key processes and/or material suppliers. Manage suppliers, materials and inventory in a manner consistent with the requirements of a Lean manufacturing environment.

Candidate Requirement :

- Engineering & MBA / MSC

- Should have a strong procurement experience in Raw Material Purchase

- From any - Paint / Chemical / Adhesive / Resin industry

- Working knowledge in SAP platform / Oracle preferred

- Able to manage 50 + Vendor/ Suppliers

- Able to manage a team
