Senior Manager - Accounts

- Material Accounting, Analysis and Reporting

- Planning, analysis and reporting of all manufacturing activities

- Cost Accounting and Cost Audit Compliance

- Sales Accounting, Planning & Reporting.

- Analysis and reporting of location wise, ledger code wise materials consumption

- Monitoring material consumption plan, actuals and variance analysis

- Estimating and monitoring overhead absorption impact due to change in manufacturing inventory

- Preparing and analysis of model wise contribution statement used for pricing decisions

- Supporting inventory valuation by quarterly updating overhead absorption ratios

- Monthly book closure systems and deadlines for activities including provision for additional charges, discounts etc.

- Monitoring and control over Internal PO-SO transactions.

- Review of processes & accounts of Plant locations

- Providing guidance for capitalisation & process checks to determine proper adherence to policies

- Developing and monitoring asset productivity MIS

- Tracking and monitoring conversion cost against the plan, developing parameters to compare conversion cost and estimate the trend for future forecast.

- Improvements of costing and inventory systems

- Analytical and system support to plant and divisional management

- Understanding of provisions of the Companies (cost records and audit) Rules, 2014 and Cost Accounting Standards and monitoring of new developments in costing compliance requirements

- Training and development of factory accounting teams in all plants

- Integrate compliance requirement with reporting requirements as per annual accounts

- Work with plants to define the specification of their costing system

- Coordinating cost audit at all plants and ensure timely completion

- Preparing CETA code wise sales revenue and reconciliation between turnover as per annual accounts and turnover as per excise/service tax records

- Preparing CETA code wise quantitative details of capacity, production, inventory and sales

- Preparing, analyzing CETA code wise cost statements including details of material and utilities consumed

- Preparing profit reconciliation of profit or loss as per cost accounting records with financial records

- Consolidating and finalizing reconciliation of indirect taxes

- Sales accounting, including trial balance review, collection and debtors review, monitoring of c-forms etc.

- Monthly book closure systems and deadlines for all ACR activities including provision for sales rebate

- Ensuring the adherence with the sales policies and review of accounting processes at branches, HO and plant locations, through structured compliance review programme.

- Ensuring data discipline and adequacy of accounting controls including ERP setups for ACR.
