Senior Manager - Account & Finance

Job Title and Overview

Senior Manager position in Accounting and Finance Controllership practice of the Company with a responsibility to manage and lead a team of accounting professionals and deliver accounting and compliance management services to the clients in outsourced delivery model and additional responsibilities towards practice management of the Company.

Job Responsibilities:

Client Engagement Management:

- Handle portfolio of 30-35 clients for accounting, finance controlling and compliances under Indian laws and regulations.

- Lead and oversee client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting consulting services.

- Collaboration with cross functional SMEs for overall outsourcing of F&A function.

Team Leadership:

- Manage team of 15-20 people

- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Practice Management:

Management of client portfolio from the perspective of timely billing and collection, contract renewals, margin analysis & risk analysis from day-to-day activities.

Business Development::

- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

- Support Sales team in generating new leads (Good to have)

Strategic aspects:

- Contribute to the development and execution of the department's strategic initiatives.

- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.

- Provide input on the overall growth strategy of the firm (Good to have)

Skills and Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with 9-12+ years of relevant experience

- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial reporting under IGAAP/ IND AS / Indian accounting standards

- Knowledge of Income tax and Goods and Service Tax provisions and compliances thereunder

- Knowledge of company law and FEMA and compliances thereunder

- Good communication to interact with foreign clients.
