Senior Management Role For the biggest Telecom venture- IT Security

Key Objective / Purpose of the Job :

Main activities include :

- Accountable for Global Corporate & IT security

- Define, manage, enhance organization's security posture which includes cyber security

- Support all major programs to ensure that they are compliant with the security policy / processes / standards..

- The role has global responsibilities and drives work on the key building blocks in the Corp + IT security. The role requires close interaction with Audit committee, Board, government agencies, regulators, audit firms, partners etc.

Major Activities :

- Define global corporate & IT security policy / processes frameworks including cyber security

- Accountable & responsible for security implementation, monitoring & control

- Facilitate regulatory & compliance audit and be accountable for implementation of action items arriving out of the same

Essential Qualifications :

- Engineering with Masters Degree

- Specialization / certifications in security areas is preferred

- Experience in handling Global CISO role

- Good knowledge about cyber security, corp & IT security, ISO, COBIT security standards / frameworks

Requisite Skills :

Technical :

- Solid understanding of corporate & cyber security + tools

- Exposure to GRC implementation & tools

- Training/Certification in security domain

- COBIT / ISO

Functional :

- Develop and publish security strategy + Guidelines

- Experience in handling Internal audits, ERM etc. at the organizational level

Behavioral :

- Ability to effectively communicate and partner with global stakeholders

- Ability to coach development team members

- Excellent communications skills (verbal, writing, presenting).

- Comfort working with a team across multiple time zone and geographies is required.

Work Experience :

- Minimum 15+ years of overall experience

- Experience in security domain & telecom industry

- Worked in large corporates
